Follow-up Automation

Automate follow-up reminders and email triggers based on progression stages.

Understanding Follow-up Rules

Follow-up rules automatically create reminders when contacts reach certain stages:

  • Trigger Stage - Stage that triggers the follow-up
  • Days After - Number of days after reaching the stage
  • Catchup Type - Type of follow-up interaction
  • Email Template - Email template to send (optional)

Creating Follow-up Rules

  1. Navigate to People & CRM > Follow-up Rules
  2. Click Create Rule
  3. Enter rule name
  4. Select trigger stage
  5. Set days after (e.g., 7 days)
  6. Select catchup type (optional)
  7. Select email template (optional)
  8. Set active status
  9. Click Save

Follow-up Dashboard

The Follow-up Dashboard shows:

  • Pending Follow-ups - Upcoming follow-ups
  • Overdue Follow-ups - Past due follow-ups
  • Completed Follow-ups - Recently completed

Access via People & CRM > Follow-up Dashboard.

Managing Follow-ups

  1. View pending follow-ups in dashboard
  2. Click on a follow-up to see details
  3. Mark as completed when done
  4. Add notes about the follow-up

Catchup Type Mappings

Catchup types define the type of interaction:

  • Email - Email follow-up
  • Call - Phone call follow-up
  • Meeting - In-person meeting
  • Event Invitation - Invite to event

Manage catchup types via People & CRM > Catchup Type Mappings.
